Ashling Kelly - Australian Maiden Sponsored by Kellys


Ashling is 24 years old and is about to commence her 3rd year of a

Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Notre Dame in Perth,

Western Australia. During her time in Perth, she has worked with

children in foster care, and has run discos for people with disabilities.

Ashling loves sports and still continues to coach and play netball

for her high school club. She is also a keen traveller and has

visited over 20 countries and travels to Ireland regularly.

Camille is 19 years old and a current fine arts honours student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In her spare time, she enjoys writing music, sketching, and spending time with friends.  Camille hopes to one day use her talents to reach people in need.

 Geraldine Sheppard - Down Maiden Sponsored by Diamonds


Having recently completed her A-levels at St. Mary’s High School, Newry,

Geraldine hopes to pursue a Degree in Adult Nursing. In her spare time she

enjoys being outdoors as she comes from a farming background and also enjoys playing and following Gaelic football for her club, county and school.

Geraldine has previously volunteered at numerous summer camps, were

she undertook many courses to gain further skills and knowledge. Geraldine

currently works part-time in Blend & Batch, a café in Banbridge.

Grainne Dowdall - Newry Maiden Sponsored by Buttercrane


Grainne is 18 years old & has just finished her A-levels in St. Pauls High School Bessbrook. Grainne hopes to study Adult Nursing in September in John Moores University Liverpool and fulfil her dream of becoming a Midwife.

In her spare time she loves to get involved in her local community by

volunteering. Grainne is currently fundraising for Make a Wish Foundation,

Marie Curie and Cancer Research whilst also volunteering in the Gateway Newry

Amy O’Hanlon - Armagh Maiden Sponsored by The Marine Tavern


Amy has just completed her A levels in St. Paul’s High School Bessbrook, where

she studied maths, music and religion. While studying for her A levels, she also

completed her level 1 qualification in coaching gymnastics at the University

of Ulster, Jordanstown. In school, she was an active member on the student

leadership team, the senior girls’ choir, senior mixed choir, African drumming

group, orchestra and traditional group. Outside of school, Amy volunteers

for the Michaela Foundation, coaches gymnastics in Mourne Gymnastics Club,

works part time in Mulkerns Eurospar and helps out on her family’s farm.

She previously represented Armagh in Scor Ná Nog through winning county titles in

recitation and set dancing. Last year, she spent time in Kenya, which inspired her to

pursue a career in the health sector. Amy dreams of one day returning to Kenya

to work in a HIV clinic that she visited.

Jessica De Vera - Filipino Maiden Sponsored by The Whistledown


Jessica is a 20 year old from Hawaii and the Philippines.

She is currently living in Rostrevor, working as a volunteer with an organisation called Youth with a Mission. Jessica has visited various different countries through her work with YWAM and has actively partaken in charity work by volunteering & engaging with local communities. She is a dancer trained in ballet, jazz, and contemporary. Jessica also holds a passion for spoken word poetry, which she has been able to share in various churches and events around the world.

Kassi Auker - Pennsylvania Maiden Sponsored by Friar Tucks


Kassi is 23 years old and is originally from Pennsylvania in the United

States. An active volunteer with YWAM, Kassi currently lives in An Cuan,

Rostrevor.  An Cuan’s mission is to teach reconciliation, both here in

Northern Ireland and in areas of conflict, such as The Balkans, Israel and

Palestine, Lebanon, and South Africa. One of Kassi’s goals is to teach

others about reconciliation using dance. Quite an experienced dancer, Kassi has learned ballet, tap, contemporary, modern, jazz, and Irish. In the future, Kassi hopes to be a street performer, music teacher, and children’s book illustrator. In her spare time she enjoys playing djembe & cajon, as well as tap dancing

Katie is 22 years old and has just completed a level 5 HND in Business Studies and is due to begin a University of Ulster degree in September.

In her spare time, Katie takes a keen interest in fashion.

She volunteers at both a local care home and an up and coming business located in Newry

Roisin Sabol - Pittsburgh Maiden Sponsored by Re-Gen


Roisin is currently studying at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Pharmacy. She studies Mandarin Chinese and works at a compounding pharmacy where she makes custom medicines for patients. Outside of school & work, she enjoys keeping fit, volunteering, especially at the local children’s hospital & in the community with her local Ladies’ Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Susanna Wiggins - San Diego Maiden Sponsored by The Genoa


Susanna is a 22 year old native of San Diego, California. She graduated Cum Laude with distinction from San Diego State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Hospitality and Event Planning. She now works for the professional San Diego Gulls Ice Hockey team as the Corporate Partnership Activation Associate and Executive Assistant. Her interests and hobbies include photography, hiking, camping, and travelling. Susanna enjoys volunteering with organisations that help military families such as the Armed Services, YMCA and the USO. Susanna is proud of her Irish ancestors who, after immigrating to the US, became Firemen,

Policemen, Military Officers, Doctors, Lawyers, and Teachers. It is because

of her passion for her Irish heritage that she began volunteering for the

Irish Congress of Southern California.
