Annie is currently a third year student at the University of San Diego, Majoring in Communication Studies. Her hobbies include, playing Volleyball, Irish Step Dancing, going to the beach, Surfing, Singing and spending time with friends and family. Annie is an active member of the University of San Diego’s Universal Ministry Program, where she participates in numerous volunteer organisations.



Catherine McCormack - Newcastle Maiden - Sponsored by Diamonds


Catherine has achieved 7 All Ireland titles in Irish Dancing with the Nolan school of Irish Dancing in Newry. She has also achieved a British Gold medal for floor gymnastics in 2005. Catherine plays both the piano and the double bass and has been a part of the Cross Border Orchestra  of Ireland for four years. Modelling has recently become a hobby of Catherine’s as she currently models for the Buttercrane Shopping Centre in Newry

Saoirse has been an Irish Dancer for 18 years, competing in both solo and team competitions, winning numerous Ulster, All Ireland and World Championships throughout the years. Saoirse has also completed 9 out of 10 grades obtaining 1st Class Honours in each and plans to complete her final grade later this year. Saoirse is currently in full time education proceeding into final year of BSc Hons Business Studies at the University of Ulster Jordanstown.

Maggie has graduated as the Valedictorian of WPSD and with High Honours from her Public School. Maggie participates in many clubs, organisations and sports. In her spare time she enjoys, listening to music, chatting online with friends, going to the cinema and spending time with family. Maggie hopes to study Biology at the Rochester Institute of Technology and in the future she hopes to become a Marine Biologist, specialising in environmental issues.

In 2012 Claire was selected as the “Face of Buttercrane“, in which she participated in Mall events and in Newry Style City. This summer she will be taking part in the Michaela Harte Foundation as a Voluntary Camp Leader. Claire is also a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society at Queens University Belfast and enjoys many pastimes such as running, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Callie is a rising Sophomore College student at Christopher Newport University, Majoring in Vocal Performance and Choral Music Education. Claire takes a keen interest in sport and plays Gaelic Football for her local club, Dorsey Emmet’s and County Armagh Under 21’s and Senior Ladies. In 2012 Claire received the Most Improved Player of the Year Award for her Club. Claire also enjoys Irish Dancing and is a member of the Rooney O’Malley School of Irish Dance and has won many All-Ireland, Ulster and World Titles with many teams.

Sinead loves socialising, meeting new people and has a passion for fitness. As a keen gym member, she likes to challenge herself with bootcamps, which result in an inner feeling of well-being. Sinead is a past pupil of St Patricks primary Mayobridge and St Marks High School Warrenpoint. She later studied for a bachelor’s honour degree in communication with advertising at the University of Ulster. Sinead is currently employed by Kidz Universe in Rathfriland, where she is fulfilling her desire to work with children. Sinead also loves to participate in voluntary work, in 2009 Sinead was part of a voluntary work project in Kenya. She described her experience as physically exhausting but an immensely satisfying project, which enhanced her appreciation of the simpler things in life.

Sinead takes a keen interest in Art, Print Making and Photography. Sinead is currently studying Art in the University of Ulster Art College in Belfast and has aspirations to one day become an Art Teacher. Sinead is an avid voluntary worker and has visited both Lourdes and Romania to help raise vital funds for charity. In the past, Sinead has raised funds for charities such PIPS, and the Hospice.

Kelly-Anne takes a keen interest in sports and enjoys Golf, Gaelic Football and Horse-riding. She is a juvenile member of Warrenpoint Golf Club and has been for 3 years. She plays Gaelic Football for Burren U16 girls and Kelly-Anne's other interests include going out with her friends, reading and drawing in her spare time and attending football matches.
